A Message from Chapter President, Zen-Ichiro Ishibashi and Shinya Konishi
Dear Chapter Members,
Thank you very much for your support to IMA Japan Chapter.
Since IMA Japan creation, we as Japan Chapter have strived to provide the benefits to Chapter members such as networking opportunity, offering professional development opportunity and enhancing U.S. CMA recognition in Japan market etc and will continue it to support our Chapter members.
As you may know, currently many Japanese companies are interested in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) function to drive their performance and considering to create it in their organization.
In addition, from June 2025, IMA started to offer Japanese version of U.S. CMA test which allows to get the U.S. CMA certificate at Japanese.
These treads show that IMA Japan should have a tremendous opportunity to enhance U.S. CMA certificate to Japan Market by encouraging and supporting individual financial professionals to prove their managerial accounting capability as well as FP&A capability.
Let’s make our FP&A profession and U.S. CMA qualification widely recognized and well respected in Japan.
